Amazon product photos on a pure white background

Amazon suppresses listings whose main image breaks its image rules, and the most common failures are an off-white background and a product that is too small in the frame. SnapStudio cuts your product out and places it on true #FFFFFF at 2000×2000 px.

How to make one with SnapStudio

  1. Take the photo in soft, even light (a window on an overcast day is ideal). Fill most of the frame with the product and keep the whole item in shot.
  2. Open SnapStudio and drop the photo in. The background is removed in your browser; the image is never uploaded to a server.
  3. Pick a background (pure white #FFFFFF, any solid colour, or a soft gradient) and toggle the subtle shadow and lighting cleanup.
  4. Tick the export sizes you need and download the JPGs (plus a transparent PNG cutout) individually or as a ZIP.

SnapStudio's Amazon export is 2000×2000 px on pure white. Free images carry a small watermark, which is fine for testing but not allowed on an Amazon main image; use a paid pack or plan for listing images.

FAQ

What exact white does Amazon require?

RGB 255, 255, 255 (hex #FFFFFF). Light grey or "almost white" backgrounds can get a main image flagged.

What size should my Amazon main image be?

At least 1,000 px on the longest side to enable zoom, at most 10,000 px. 2000×2000 px is a safe, sharp square.

Can I add a shadow?

Amazon's rule is about the background colour. A soft natural shadow under the product is widely used; avoid anything that tints the white area around it. Turn the shadow off if you want to be strictly conservative.

Can I use the free watermarked image on Amazon?

No. Amazon prohibits watermarks on main images. Use the free tier to check results, then a $5 pack for watermark-free files.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. Background removal runs in your browser using an on-device model.
